Carol Millhouse first developed a passion for Saddleback Mountain in 1993 when her daughter participated in a state-wide ski race at Saddleback. She and her family so enjoyed the skiing and experienced such a warm sense of welcome, the family returned to Saddleback from Aroostook County year after year. Since moving to Southern Maine in 1999, Carol served as Ski Doc for the Saddleback Ski Patrol in 2000, and as a Ski Instructor in the Ski

School in 2014-15. Her husband served many years on the Saddleback Volunteer Ski Patrol, and also as a Ski Instructor. Carol says that having skied numerous other mountains, her experience has been that there is no other mountain that provides the same joyful and friendly spirit as does Saddleback Mountain. When not skiing, Carol worked as an RN and as an FNP in hospitals and nursing education from 1972 – 1997, when she became a Family Nurse Practitioner working in Primary Care and College Health, where she continues to work per diem since retiring in
